Calisthenics Lab is operated by The Calisthenics Lab. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
1. Information we collect
- Account data: your name, email, and password (stored only as a secure hash).
- Training data: workouts, benchmarks, body-weight logs, water logs, and optional progress photos you add.
- Health & fitness metrics you choose to sync (see our separate Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy).
- Billing data: handled by our payment processors (Stripe, Apple, Google). We never see or store full card numbers.
- Usage data: basic device and app-interaction data needed to operate and secure the service.
2. How we use it
We use your data solely to run your training experience — generate your program, track progress, show your recap, process your subscription, and provide support. We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.
3. Analytics & cookies
We use privacy-respecting product analytics to understand feature usage and improve the app. Non-essential analytics cookies are loaded only after you accept them in our cookie banner; you can decline with one click and the app still works fully. Essential cookies (sign-in, security) are always required.
4. Sharing
We share data only with the service providers that make the app work (hosting, payments, email delivery, voice generation), each bound to protect it. We disclose data if required by law. We never sell it.
5. Retention & deletion
You can permanently delete your account in-app (Settings → Delete Account) or at thecalisthenicslab.com/delete-account. Deletion removes your training and health data and progress photos. We retain only what law requires — a one-way hashed email and billing-event history for tax/refund records — with no name, training, or health data.
6. Your rights
You can export all your data as JSON at any time (Settings → Download My Data). Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data; contact us to exercise them.
7. Children
Calisthenics Lab is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
